Ryder Cup captains go head-to-head in 14-Club Challenge
As they Confronted in a special edition of Their European Tours 14-Club Challenge, Steve Stricker and padraig Harrington enjoyed a Ryder Cup contest at Whistling Straits.
Harrington and Stricker were both in Wisconsin earlier this week to markOne Year To Move until the 2020 Ryder Cup, but that captain would like bragging rights to the par-three 17th?
The USA and European skippers took time out from their media responsibilities to get involved in the challenge, in which they have seven tries to hit on the green – including the putter.
However, as normal, if a player employs a club, both players drop it because they chose on the 165-yard hole into some rough weather, but there was an additionaldouble or quits struggle to determine the victor – and the winner of a Ryder Cup replica trophy made out of cheese!
